@Anto2004 ok that's actually perfect for a killer intro! here's how i would approach writing the introduction paragraph:

Hook: hit em with the stat about how many hours avg student spends on social media
Context: quick overview of the debate around social media & mental health
Thesis: your fresh take on the positive aspects

that's how to write an essay introduction that stands out. trust me, Thompson eats this structure up!

aight, here's my intro (diff topic but same structure for writing essay introductions):

"While 97% of climate scientists agree about human-caused climate change, public opinion remains sharply divided. This gap between scientific consensus and public perception represents one of the most significant communication challenges of our time. Despite numerous public awareness campaigns and educational initiatives, misconceptions continue to shape policy decisions and individual actions. This paper argues that the solution lies not in more data, but in fundamentally reimagining how we communicate scientific findings to the public."
