Been staring at blank doc for 2hrs... any tips how to start an essay without hating myself?

idk why but it helps figure out where ur going? then introduction just... happens

bruh forget all that fancy advice about how to start an essay... just type whatever garbage comes to mind and fix it later. literally anything. even "this essay is about stuff because reasons"

UPDATE: ok so i mixed everyone's advice about how to start an essay... took a shower, came up with spicy take about tiktok algorithms & cognitive bias, word vomited for 10 min... AND IT'S WORKING???
